Hi friends! It feels so good to be here. Truly, this work lights me up and I am SO excited to share it with you! For those of you who are curious about who I am and how I got here.. just come to the retreat. ;) Got you.

Okay, in all seriousness I will take you back to the day I took my first Yoga class in Pocatello, Idaho. I was cheering at Idaho State University at the time and as a team we all went to this beautiful Yoga studio. I remember before class wondering why we were going. After all we were pretty good with our stretches. What more did we need? Little did I know Yoga is so much more than stretching. I honestly don’t remember much of what we actually did, but I remember how I felt. Energized, alive, whole. A spark was set inside of me. As I walked up the stairs, out of the studio and into the pouring rain I blurted out to my friend Susie, “This is what I am going to do! I am going to teach Yoga one day!”

Those words sunk deep inside of me for a few rough years to follow. I forgot about how Yoga made me feel. I was living my life day to day in a hazy state of mind. I experienced high highs and extremely low lows. Drug abuse played a big role here. I was living a lie and I knew my life was no longer sustainable. I hit my rock bottom when my mom left me a voicemail informing me my grandmother had just passed. I will never forget that moment. I was trying to sober up from a night of dancing and I kept hearing a voice in my head say, “Are you going to fight this fight? Or are you going to give up and die next to your grandmother?” THAT was the point I was in my life. I didn’t want to die. I knew I needed to live. I knew deep down, there was purpose within my soul to be found. After almost a year long struggle I finally surrendered myself to God. For the first time in my life I had to make a real leap of faith. I let go of the chains I had been gripping onto and decided in order for me to truly change and evolve I needed to remove myself from my current environment.

So, I did. I made the move to Utah to start over. I began the Master Esthetic program at Aveda and poured myself into self growth, healing and discipline . As I was still fresh from recovering I leaned onto the one thing I knew I could feel peace from. Yoga. Rather than me finding Yoga, I believe this practice found me. It pulled me out of the waters of shame and wrapped me up in forgiveness, love, and healing. After a handful of years dipping in and out of the studio and practicing from one home to another I decided it was time for me to go through Yoga Teacher Training. During this time I had dedicated almost 3 years towards building my health coaching business, but deep within me I knew it was time to shift directions. Every other weekend of YTT was surrounded by the most beautiful humans who have become life long friends. This practice has allowed me to expand my vision, open my heart and stretch in new ways. I cannot wait to share this piece of my heart with you.

My practice has taken many turns over the past 9 years as I have experienced the growth and birth of my two children. My youngest is now two, so I feel as if I am now blossoming; once again out of this cocoon that was once built. Experiencing the cycle of death and birth in many forms throughout our lives is something I have been a witness to. Coming to a place of surrender and acceptance time and time again is what keeps bringing me back to this place. Listening to the call within and honoring divine timing. Every person, element, class, and detail is planted with intentional love. It is an honor to hold space and to see so many different humans show up as they are and leave elevated in light and purpose.

I am deeply passionate about sharing this practice of breathwork and yoga with you because it has brought me back to who I truly am. The work here will never be done and I will forever be a student expanding my craft. I am humbly grateful for where I am and the beautiful humans and teachers who have supported me this far. I truly believe yoga inspires hope, healing, and acceptance. I invite you to join us. To give this practice a chance. To set your expectations aside and just be. Come as you are, leave with deeper meaning + connection.

Rachel Prairie - earth & iron wellness

I’m Rachel Prairie a certified personal trainer, health coach, sound practitioner, wilderness guide and owner of Earth & Iron Wellness.

I believe in reimagining wellness as an active pursuit, as freedom, as an adventure, as embodying the divine and as a self-love story. I have 20 years of experience building strong bodies, hearts, and minds. I have 100 virtual training clients, and travel the county running retreats and workshops to make wellness accessible.

My self discovery has always been a longing to “return home.” When I was younger I told myself I was not from here. I would sit out at night in a field waiting for my “real family,” to come pick me up. I spoke with the trees, and animals. I had vivid imaginary friends that guided me. And in efforts to fit in I moved as far away from those things as possible. I didn’t return to my magic until 2015 when I ended my 15 year marriage, and finally returned to my true self.

I’ve done a tremendous amount of work, the majority spent in the physical body, outdoors, with music, in meditation to come to my truth: we are powerful creators, we are the authorities in our healing, we are spirit, we are the universe. I was right - we are not from here, we are so much more. And when operate from the lens of the universe experiencing itself, planted firmly in your highest self, your whole life changes…

I am so excited to share an outdoor and sound bath experience. I love empowering women to become the authority in their health, wellness and healing through community and immersion.

Alexis Foust - Soul Frequency

Photography, breathwork + sound healing, community builder

"Hey friends, Alexis here! I am so excited to be facilitating again with restorative retreats for another magical experience!

I am a multi-passionate human, and for those who don't know, among many things I am a certified somatic breathwork facilitator, sound healing practitioner, photographer, retreat facilitator, and community builder.

Everybody has their own unique soul frequency, their own personal essence, and I'm passionate about reminding others of their own inner light and supporting them in finding that within themselves. *

I believe in the power of community and over the years I have organized many local group wellness events along with helping either facilitate or photograph many retreat experiences. As l've traveled everywhere from Mexico to India to Sedona for these retreats, I'm just constantly being reminded that no matter what our background or where we came from we are all so connected.

I LOVE photography, and approach it all in an intentional, heart centered way, and will be capturing special retreat moments throughout the weekend, along with offering mini sessions for those who are interestec in some extra self-love photos to remember this weekend and capture your light.

I will also be helping with the breathwork session, and I'm so excited to share the power of somatic breathwork with everyone there. Guiding others in connecting deeper to themselves through the breath is something I am so passionate about, and I love sharing the tools that have impacted my own life with others.

I'm so looking forward to connecting with everybody, sharing my offerings, and being an active participant in this upcoming retreat!"
